Lenovo Cuts Pricing on Old ThinkPad T420, X220 and W520, Model Availability Ends Soon

Lenovo is now offering a 12% off coupon on some popular older model ThinkPads, if you use coupon code THINK627 at checkout you’ll get 12% off the ThinkPad T420, X220 or W520 models that are set to retire soon.  Here’s the link to the deal page for these models and below is a screenshot of the pricing in effect after the coupon:

The ThinkPad T420 has a price of $659 at the base level configuration of a Core i3 processor, 4GB RAM, 320GB HD (7200RPM) and Intel HD 4000 graphics.  The ThinkPad X220 pricing starts at $764 with a similar configuration to the T420.  The 15.6” screen ThinkPad W520 has a Core i7-2640M, 4GB RAM and Nvidia Quadro dedicated raphics for $1,099.12 after the THINK627 coupon.   The latest ThinkPad Edge E530 has a very nice price of $449 right now with the 12% off.  That price includes a Core i3-2350m chip, 1366 x 768 screen 15.6” screen, 4GB RAM and 320GB 7200RPM HD.

Just as a note, starting next week on 6/26 the following ThinkPad models will be retired and no longer available on Lenovo.com:

• ThinkPad L520
• ThinkPad X220 Tablet
• ThinkPad T420s
• ThinkPad T420/T520 discrete graphics model versions
